Delusional hubris

American media keeps asking why do they hate us! It is because you actually have to ask that question is  your answer. America is delusional to the point that it is pathological narcissistic in its foreign policies, history and overall world view. We are so hooked on pleasure that we see the world as a video game or sporting event. You can't  free someone by bombing them or their children. Yet many American people really believe that they are doing a good thing when our military is attacking people who have different belief systems and cultures from us. 

American people suffer from what I believe is narcissistic ethnocentrism. We have screamed this we're #1 crap for so long we don't realize that it is our nation that is the scourge of the earth right now. We haven't really comprehended the paradigm shift that has occurred in American foreign policy since the Reagan and Bush administration. We love to cheer from afar. We haven't really gone to war, but our military has and that is how we like it. No one has bombed us, 911 doesn't count because it was our own government at work on that occasion, we have been relatively untouched by war and because of that we have developed an arrogant bloodlust especially against nations of color.  

As I right this post the American propagandists in the news media are 
Constantly flashing commentary about this 13 minute film vilifying the prophet Mohammed. They say this is causing all the uproar against America right now. They want to distract you from the atrocities commited against these nations in our name. America we are an arrogant unrepentant people, not all of us of course thank God for that, but the majority of Americans have their identity so incarnated in the American flag that to attack the American character is to attack them personally. We hate self- reflection and self- examination more than anything because to do that is to risk spiritual and psychological implosion and that is more terrifying to Americans than starting wars, and the powers that be know this. Any politician running for office just has to espouse how great a country this is, how he will kick some foreign butt and how he will still put a car in every garage and a chicken in every American pot despite how much it will cost and he will get the vote. 

Political candidates such as Ron Paul , Ralph Nader , and others who try to get Americans to see the world in real terms, who tell Americans we cannot bully the world around are called weak , pacifists or apologists they are pushed to the political back burner and told to shut up. Give us more bombs for those sand niggers and more debt for my new pickup truck and you got my vote! HOORAH!!!
