The Choice Is Yours, Sisters
❖ The Warning of Revelation
“Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel… to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication…”
— Revelation 2:20
Black women today must deeply examine how their choices—not just in sexuality but in spiritual posture—affect the trajectory of our community. The Jezebel spirit is not just a biblical character. It is alive. It is seductive. And it is destroying our homes.
We are living in a time where the daughters of Zion have traded dignity for vanity, traded covenant for casual encounters, and traded Proverbs 31 for Instagram notoriety.
You must ask yourself:
Are you preparing to be a companion… or resigning yourself to concubine status?
❖ A Culture of Bastards and Brokenness
“They have dealt treacherously against the LORD: for they have begotten strange children…”
— Hosea 5:7
Many of today’s Black women were never taught what love, leadership, or loyalty from a righteous man feels like. Raised by broken mothers and surrounded by base men, they’ve normalized dysfunction. What they model is not womanhood—it is woundedness masked as independence. And their wounds manifest in:
Profane speech
Raunchy dress
Addictions to attention, sex, and control
Artificial appearance and pride in self-idolatry
Without guidance, they become spiritual bastards. Not daughters of Sarah—but daughters of Babylon.
❖ Jezebel: The Spirit That Rules the Streets
The modern-day Jezebel is empowered by weak men—Ahabs—who abandon their priesthood and serve their lust. Just like Ahab surrendered his authority to Jezebel, these modern males:
Submit to female manipulation
Worship sex
Commit acts of violence at the command of degenerate women
Lack the moral courage to lead
They are strong in body but weak in spirit—dangerous to themselves and to society.
“For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.”
— Isaiah 9:16
🔥 Hosea 4:13
“They sacrifice upon the tops of the mountains, and burn incense upon the hills, under oaks and poplars and elms, because the shadow thereof is good: therefore your daughters shall commit whoredom, and your spouses shall commit adultery.”
🔎 BREAKDOWN:
“They sacrifice upon the tops of the mountains…”
Israel had turned from the worship of YAHUAH to idol worship, following pagan rituals on high places—mountain shrines and groves (Deut 12:2). These were symbolic locations of rebellion, places where they rejected divine instruction and embraced sensual, nature-based fertility cults (like Baal and Asherah).“…and burn incense upon the hills, under oaks and poplars and elms…”
These shady trees became settings for sensual, mystical practices. The “shadow” or covering of the trees is symbolic of false security—a place where sin is indulged under a pretense of peace and protection. It was comfortable rebellion.“...because the shadow thereof is good:”
In other words: “It feels right.” They chose comfort and sensuality over obedience and truth. These spots gave them what they desired: pleasure without repentance.“Therefore your daughters shall commit whoredom, and your spouses shall commit adultery.”
This is the divine consequence: sexual confusion, breakdown of marriage, and generational cycles of immorality. Because the people worshipped like harlots, their daughters became harlots.
The fathers modeled spiritual prostitution—running after false gods—so the daughters followed suit literally and physically. And the wives followed emotionally. A cursed house begins with a faithless priest.
💔 Hosea 4:14
“I will not punish your daughters when they commit whoredom, nor your spouses when they commit adultery: for themselves are separated with whores, and they sacrifice with harlots: therefore the people that doth not understand shall fall.”
🔎 BREAKDOWN:
“I will not punish your daughters… nor your spouses…”
This is not divine approval—this is divine abandonment. God is saying, “Why would I punish the women? They’re only reflecting the men.” The judgment is that YAH gives them over to their lusts (Romans 1:24). He removes correction. When God stops chastising, it is a terrifying sign: the people are being handed over to destruction.“For themselves are separated with whores…”
The men were not innocent. They set themselves apart to sin. “Separated” is a word that once meant consecration to God. Now, the men have consecrated themselves to whores. They are spiritually devoted to fornication.“…and they sacrifice with harlots:”
These men literally participated in temple prostitution and ritual sex acts as forms of worship in pagan fertility cults. But even today, Black men and women sacrifice their strength to the altar of lust and the gods of pleasure (celebrity, fame, porn, OnlyFans, whoredom). Their bodies become the burnt offering.“Therefore the people that doth not understand shall fall.”
When a people lack discernment—when they forsake God’s Word and reject understanding—they collapse. Not just individually. Nationally. Generationally. Morally. Spiritually.
🛑 THEOLOGICAL & CULTURAL APPLICATION
1️⃣ The Men Failed First
This scripture exposes the root: the men were corrupted by lust and idolatry first. When the spiritual heads fail, the house falls. Fathers sacrificed their moral integrity. Husbands abandoned their covenant. And the result was unfaithful daughters and broken homes.
✍️ Application: When Black men chase vanity, whoredom, and spiritual compromise, they produce daughters who model that brokenness and wives who eventually mirror their betrayal.
2️⃣ Judgment Begins With Abandonment
God says He won’t punish—meaning He won’t intervene. That’s terrifying. When a society crosses a threshold of rebellion, God removes His hedge. He stops the correction. He lets the generational curse multiply.
✍️ Application: Many of our young women are not being punished—they are being abandoned. Their rebellion is the fruit of absent fathers, ungodly men, and unchecked lust in the community’s male leaders.
3️⃣ The Spirit of Whoredom Is Inherited
When spiritual adultery is practiced openly, sexual immorality will be normalized socially. Jezebel in the pulpit leads to whores in the pews. Ahab on the throne leads to dysfunction in the home.
✍️ Application: Black America must recognize that the battle is not just economic or political—it is SPIRITUAL. You cannot correct social disorder with secular policy. You must repent of spiritual adultery and return to righteous order.
4️⃣ “A People That Doth Not Understand Shall Fall”
This is a generational curse of ignorance. Biblical illiteracy + cultural rebellion = destruction.
We are watching this unfold today: in our music, in our family structures, in our moral compass.
✍️ Application: If we do not restore understanding—through the Word, through righteous men, through repentance—our people will continue to fall: into poverty, perversion, and powerlessness.
⚔️ FINAL CALL TO ACTION
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” — Hosea 4:6
It’s time to:
✅ Tear down the altars on our "high places"—celebrity worship, lust, vanity
✅ Restore righteous male leadership in the home and church
✅ Raise daughters in holiness, not hip-hop
✅ Cleanse our communities of the spirit of Jezebel and Ahab
✅ Return to the Most High, who alone can break the generational curse
Judgment is not only coming—it’s already here. But redemption is still possible… if we understand.
