What Would God Say about Saggin,

Saggin sends a message:

Ecclesiastes 10:3
Yea also when he that is a fool walketh by the way, his wisdom faileth him and he saith to every one that he is a fool.

Ecclesiastes 10:5-6
There is an evil which I have seen as an error that proceedeth from the rulers: Folly is set in great dignity and the rich sit in a low place.

Throughout scripture a persons clothing has a direct impact on a person's character, responsibilities, and in many cases their destiny. Clothes do make the man, and the woman. The book of Matthew gives an account on what happens when someone does not dress themselves with reverence

Mat 22:11  And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:

Mat 22:12   And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless
.
Mat 22:13  Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast [him] into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Mat 22:14  For many are called, but few [are] chosen.

Black men and women, yes women are doing it too, who sagg don’t realize that it is a form of humiliation.  In times of conflict many enemy armies would deliberately tear the clothes off the people they captured in order to shame them. A recent example of this was the humiliation of the prisoners of war in Iraq at  Abu Ghraib.

Men who have honor and self respect hate being disgraced in this manner. Yet black men and women walk around arrogantly displaying their behinds for all the world to see.

God gives an example of this type of humiliation as punishment in Isaiah 20:4 it states:

So shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and the Ethiopians captives, young and old, naked and barefoot, even with [their] buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.

Saggin advertises defilement and everything that is profane in the sight of God.
