Fathers Generate Wealth

Fathers Generate Wealth

Proverbs 19:14-21 (KJV)
14House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the Lord.

15[Slothfulness casteth into a deep sleep; and an idle soul shall suffer hunger.]

16[He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; ] but[ he that despiseth his ways shall die.]

17[He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the ] Lord[; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.]

18[Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying.]

19[A man of great wrath shall suffer punishment: for if thou deliver ] him[, yet thou must do it again.]

20[Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.]

21There are[ many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the ] Lord[, that shall stand.]

It is the father that begets wealth for his family, his community and his nation, the Lord provides him a prudent wife for a help - meet. His heart delights in her. Her love and faith in him fuel his endeavors. His trust in his God ennobles him and he becomes a vessel of honor in the Lord's house.  The dearth of noble fathers and husbands brings poverty, both spiritual poverty and material poverty. This is the increasing lot of the African American. He is not poor financially; he is impoverished spiritually, and it creates material deprivation as a result. I once told a friend of mine that ghettos are not buildings, ghettos are people. The collective negative thought processes of individuals infest the atmosphere and create a miasmic, dystopic, cloud over the community and forces those who have to live among it to become subconsciously infected with the psycho-spiritual toxin. It's like living with someone who is clinically depressed. You find yourself suffering from mild forms of depression as well by simply being around the individual.

God cursed the ground for Adams's sake. Adam learned to toil for his wealth and sustenance. This trait is passed down genetically in most men today. However, there is a defect in the spiritual genome of many of our younger men today. They don't seem to be in possession of the desire and willingness to create wealth in an honorable fashion. The devil has corrupted and taken possession of too many young black men today and they subsequently seed the woman, and she transmutes into a she devils of sorts. Together they spawn a generation of demonically controlled boys and girls that later grow up and increase strife in the earth. Which results in poverty and desolation.

The income levels of fatherless homes compared to homes with fathers in Black America reveal significant disparities, reflecting broader economic and social challenges. Here’s an overview:

Income Differences

  1. Fatherless Homes:

    • Fatherless homes, on average, tend to have lower household incomes compared to homes with fathers.
    • Single-mother households, which make up a significant portion of fatherless homes, often experience financial challenges due to relying on a single income.
    • The U.S. Census Bureau has consistently shown that single-parent families, particularly those led by women, have higher poverty rates than two-parent families.
  2. Homes with Fathers:

    • Homes with both parents, including fathers, generally have higher household incomes. This is often due to the presence of two incomes, which provides greater financial stability.
    • Two-parent households tend to accumulate more wealth, invest more in their children’s education, and experience fewer economic hardships.

Black American Families

  • In the Black American community, the rate of single-parent households is notably higher than in other racial groups. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, about 64% of Black children live in single-parent households, with the vast majority being mother-led.
  • The income disparity is more pronounced in the Black community due to systemic factors like racial wage gaps, employment discrimination, and historical economic disadvantages.
  • Homes with fathers in Black America generally fare better economically, with higher incomes and better access to resources, compared to single-parent (fatherless) homes.

Broader Implications

  • The income gap between fatherless homes and those with fathers contributes to broader issues such as disparities in education, health outcomes, and future economic mobility for children.
  • Fatherless homes are more likely to experience economic instability, which can perpetuate cycles of poverty and limit opportunities for children growing up in these environments.

Summary

Fatherless homes in Black America typically have lower incomes compared to homes with fathers. This economic disparity has significant implications for the well-being and future prospects of children in these households, contributing to broader social and economic challenges within the community. WHAT ARE THE STATS IN 2023

Searched 6 sites

As of 2023, the income disparities between fatherless homes and those with fathers in Black America remain significant. Research consistently shows that children from father-absent homes are more likely to live in poverty. For instance, children in fatherless homes are almost four times more likely to live in poverty compared to those living with both parents. This is particularly impactful in Black communities, where a significant percentage of children live in single-parent households.

Data from 2021-2022 highlights that approximately 64% of Black children live in single-parent homes, with the vast majority being father-absent. These households tend to have lower incomes and face higher rates of poverty. The median income for single-mother households is significantly lower compared to married-couple households.

This income disparity contributes to broader social and economic challenges, including higher rates of poverty, reduced educational attainment, and increased risk of behavioral problems among children from fatherless homes. The lack of economic support and parental involvement that typically comes with father absence exacerbates these issues.

Efforts to address these challenges emphasize the importance of supporting father involvement and providing economic and social support to single parent families (NFI Programs) (KIDS COUNT Data Center) (National Center for Fathering).
