Black Men: Stop Letting the World Define You.
Black men let everyone else define who he is and who he should be.
Other black men in hip hop culture, want to turn him into a gangster.
Black women perpetuate this and also forces him to be a stud, street hustler, a dope dealer etc.
The school system teaches him to keep his expectations and aspirations low.
White media tells him he is a criminal or athlete or in many cases both, e.g Ray Rice, OJ Simpson.
Reality TV teaches him to be a thirsty simp that takes a back seat to his boisterous loud mouth wife or girlfriend
White women claim to accept him and soothe his many wounds but she in turns take away his spear so he won't battle her father the white man. Too many brothers let everyone define him EXCEPT GOD.
4TH OF JULY NIGGAHS
Their is a growing number of young and not so young black men in America that I would classify as July 4th niggahs. These are the RAH RAH brothers, loud obnoxious always looking to be a SPECTACLE like the fireworks on the fourth of July. They are overly intense and seem ready to pop off at the slightest provocation. They attract a lot of women because of this. Which in turn leads to sexual gratification and bonding with many of these women. This is the RAH RAH niggahs core motivation . He provides the fireworks but he does not provide the food for the holiday picnic.
A lot of brothers create intense, drama filled and traumatic bonds with women that maintains a strong connection that many women equate as love. But what they experience is the intensity of the emotions evoked. They are what many call today . turn't up !!!
The urban dictionary defines turn't up as follows.
Turnt Up
- thee act of getting drunk and high to thee highest degree
- getting loose {whether that be just being wild or engaging in sexual activity}

These brothers don't provide any thing that provides long term sustenance , he doesn't bring home the bacon nor a pan to fry it in. They got a hustle but no job history. They live in YOUR HOUSE, or apartment. They aren't putting anything in their own name. Instead of carrying the burden or being the burden bearer, they ride the backs of their women, thus the need to keep up the fireworks as a distraction from the absence of food for the picnic.
Fireworks would consist of fighting, constant arguing, drug and alcohol abuse, criminal enterprises, frequent sex, street hustling, swagger, bastard children, with little or no child support, pipe dreams of fame or get rich quick schemes that never pan out constant drama and or trauma that still keeps the woman bonded to him and restricts her ability to form a more edifying relationship with other more honorable men.
All these intense experiences creates what I call THUG ADDICTION. Just like drug addiction the woman develops a craving for these experiences, the same way a crackhead craves the pipe.
