Mass media propaganda and 3rd wave feminism send out a not so subtle message to American men , through mainly advertising, that men should concentrate on nesting with his woman and that this is the actualization of all his life goals. Many commercials show men sitting around the house on his bed or couch hugging his two and. half kids, washing dishes for his beaming supportive wife and he is grinning from ear to ear as if he has just been translated to suburban heaven. I personally hate those commercials.
Men by nature are explorers, hunters, gatherers, and in some cases warriors. God commanded man to subdue the earth for His glory. Mass media and social engineering has sent the message that the earth is controlled so you man can just sit back in your lazy boy and watch the big game and drink your bud light while your kids play on their i Pods and tablets and your wife goes shopping and microwaves your dinner when she comes home. DAMN LIFE IS. GOOD!!! I'm just gonna sit on my fat ass and tune in and zone out. I think I'll buy that new mattress they are advertising on TV. It looks pretty comfortable

Your world is crumbling while you lounge with your wife and kids. If you are following God , you should know that this is not your world and you should not be trying to find total comfort in this wicked sphere. You should be taking up your cross, or rifle, or shovel, or something. You damn shouldn't be grabbing a snuggie to cover your fat ass while you sit in your EASY CHAIR. Keep on nesting niggah They not coming for you yet. Emphasis on yet. You white knights, Manginas, and simps are in for a very rude awakening if you don't really man up. Don't think that this is a new phenomena either. God spoke of this very situation in the book of Jeremiah and he was not pleased.

As the previous scriptures stated , Moab was comfortable in his lees, he was spoiled because of his so called wealth and security. He failed to seek after his God with all his heart and mind. Therefore the Lord of Host brought calamity on him.
Leave nesting for the birds and your wife, who is wired for that, You Man should never be comfortable and snuggly. That is for wimps and even God hates wimps that is why your woman is divorcing you.
The earth is but man's launching pad to eternity. Eternity should be our desire our perpetual quest. A man should never get to a point where he is content with this world. God and all his infinite knowledge should be our focus.
David understood this when he asked The question in the book of Psalms the following.

3[When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;]
4What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
5[For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.]
6[Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all ] things[ under his feet:]
Man was made for something greater than what we are experiencing. All that we have accomplished is nothing compared to the glory that the Lord has planned for those who seek him in faith and truth.
The apostle Paul stated this in 1Corinthians 2:9-16 the following:

9But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

11[For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.]
12[Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.]
13[Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.]
14[But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know ] them[, because they are spiritually discerned.]
15[But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.]
16[For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.]
It is the mind that seeks out the things of God, if you have the mind of Christ nesting is the farthest thing from your mind. You man are not a woman. Your primary responsibility is to your God. Your wife and kids are secondary to glorifying YAHWEH.
